passed away quietly surrounded by family on August 24, 2012. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was loved and admired for his strength and character. Preceded by father, Vinson Graves; and brothers, Gerald and Clint Graves. He is survived by son and daughter in law, Chris and Shelby Graves; grandsons, Elijah and Christopher Graves; great grandson, Bently Graves; mother, Evelyn Graves; brother, Gary Graves; sister, Carol Graves; and best friend and loving companion, Melody Harrington and daughters, Stacey Smith, Morgan Smith; granddaughters, Nevaeh Thomas and Audrey-Lynn Fay Smith; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends and family will gather on Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. for funeral service at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, Rev. Charles Tindell officiating. Interment will be at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, meet 10:45 for 11:00 a.m. service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. mynattfh.com.
