Covington - Helen Margerite Pinner, 94, went to be with the Lord on the morning of April 26, 2013. Mrs. Pinner, the widow of Paul Pinner, was a housewife, member of the Liberty Baptist Church, where she was a part of the WMU, and was a member of the Solo Home Demonstration. Mrs. Pinner is survived by her sons, George Pinner of Covington, Walter Pinner (LeAnn) of Covington, and Jimmy Pinner (Debbie) of McRay, AR; daughters, Evelyn Stringer (Jim) of Atoka and Paula Kisling of Cordova; brothers, William Mooneyham (Betty) and Gerald Mooneyham of Brighton; sister, Virginia Gray of Memphis; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pinner was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Vera Mooneyham; brothers, Langston and Lloyd Mooneyham; sisters, Ida Smith. Eunice Mooneyham, and Beatrice Griffith; and two grandsons. The funeral will be held on Monday, April 29th at the Liberty Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held Sunday night from 4-8 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Rev. Charles Timberlake will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be sent to the Liberty Baptist Church at 3097 Holly Grove Rd Covington, TN 38019. The family would like to thank Methodist Allience Hospice and her nurses Susan Schmidt and Melinda Jones. They also say a special thank you to her caregivers Florence Bass and Josephine Gooden.
