William H. Hodge LORAIN — William H. Hodge, 70, of Lorain, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain. He was born in McMinnville Oregon on March 1, 1943 and had lived in Ohio for the past 42 years, most of them in Lorain. William was employed as an auto reconditioner at Joyce Buick for 38 years. He also was an Officer with the Auxiliary of Lorain Police Department for over 20 years. William enjoyed working on cars and watching television. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sharon (nee Vanek) Hodge; sons, William (Debbie) Hodge of Sheffield Township, Brian Hodge and Michael Hodge, both of Lorain; grandchildren, Allyssa, Jacob, Jeremy, Julian, McKenzie, Leylah and Aleyah; brother, Jack Hodge of Washington; sisters, Joyce Flowers of Washington, Marjorie Henstreet of California, and Gladys Pruchinsky of Amherst and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Hilda (nee Crumley) Hodge; brother, Edward Hodge; and by his sisters, Betty Fields and Faye Hodge. Friends may call Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road Sheffield Township.
