Tyler Andrew Vance, 24, of Green, passed away tragically on April 20, 2013.

Born April 17, 1989 in Houston, Texas, Tyler spent most of his life in Green. From a precocious toddler who was beyond his years, Tyler began his Christian walk at Lake Center Christian School in Hartville. His principal, John Dutcher, mentored and guided him on his Spiritual path. After the tragic deaths of his brother and grandmother, Tyler continued on to Central Christian School in Kidron where he was given compassion and guidance from individuals such as Tim Shue and countless others. As a young man, Tyler strived to find purpose in his life. He picked up Cody's guitar and music became his life. Tyler longed to try and find a meaning in life enjoying such endeavors as sky diving, swimming with the dolphins, scuba diving and snow skiing. Tyler also wrote music and poetry to his brother searching for meaning. He was an accomplished musician, having played five instruments, but his love was the guitar. He was a former member of the Summit Choral Society and had a beautiful voice. Tyler's tortured soul is now at peace where he is joined with his late beloved brother.

Also, now reunited with his maternal grandmother, Peggy J. Hovatter, Tyler is survived by his beloved mother, Carla Collins-Vance. He is also survived by an exceptional friend, mentor and confidante, Les Hickman; survived by what each other considered siblings, Savannah Hickman; maternal grandfather, Gary Hovatter, grandparents, Carl and Ruth Collins; Uncle James (Andrea) Dolan IV and their children, James Dolan, V and Jacob Dolan; Aunt Maggie (nee Collins) and Brian Harris and their children, Molly Anne and Sullivan Harris; Aunt Barbara Groff; great Aunt Patricia Watson; great-great-Aunt Catherine Rekyette. He is also survived by his father, Drew Vance; Grandmother LilyAnn "Mimi" Vance of Houston, Texas; stepsisters, Emma and Hannah Todor.

Tyler's soul is now at peace, reunited with Cody where they will never be apart and will walk together for eternity.
