Born Feb. 12, 1888, in Nickerson, Kan., he lived in Vancouver the past 30 years residing at 1000 NE 82nd Ave., at the time of his death. McLaughlin was a member of the Vancouver Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Eizabeth A. at home; four sons, Lyman of Sumner, Wash., Winfred of Federal Way, Wash., Donald of Portland and Ralph of Vancouver; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Skaggs of Vancouver; a brother, Herbert, of San Marie, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jon Johnston is to preside at the 10 a.m. services Friday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Final rites and interment are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
