George King Mountjoy, 73, of Mayfield, KY passed away at 9:01 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his residence in Mayfield. George was a Navy veteran, retired Truck driver,was of the Baptist faith, and former minister of Carlisle and Hickman County. He attended Mid-Continent University for 1 year. Survivors include three sons; Anthony Michael Mountjoy of Mayfield, KY, George Rex Mountjoy of Selmer, TN, and Leonard Lee Mountjoy of Selmer, TN; one sister; Tillie Hogancamp of Henderson, TN, eleven Grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Father George Rex Mountjoy , mother Williema white Mountjoy, two wives; Connie Joe Lishka Mountjoy and Patrica McGee Mountjoy, one son; Tracy Mountjoy, and two sisters. Visitation will be 5:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday April 21, 2013 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Arlington. Rev. Glen Stewart Officiating. Burial will be at Columbus cemetery in Columbus, KY.
