Mrs. Livingston was born in Thrifty, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Charles Pugh and Exa Mullins Lane; and sisters, Mary Jane Walker and Betty Jo Pugh.

JUNE PUGH LIVINGSTON - SAN ANGELO


June Pugh Livingston died peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, May 1, 2005. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church in San Angelo with co-Pastor Craig Meyers officiating. Interment will follow in Arden Cemetery. June was born on March 6, 1917, in Thrifty, Texas, a granddaughter of Brown County pioneer I.C. Mullins. She graduated from Bangs High School and Sul Ross State University and began her teaching career in San Angelo. An accomplished musician and vocal soloist, June was active in the San Angelo Philharmonic Chorus and church choirs, always lending her voice to the glory of God. She was very active in her church and was instrumental in establishing a Laotian community here in San Angelo. Survivors include her loving husband and primary caregiver, Dr. Charles W. Livingston Jr.; one sister, Charlene Collyns; half-brothers Lloyd and Phil Pugh; half-sisters Wilma Jean Pugh and Janice Holstein; children Johny Weyerts and wife Charlsie, Gene Weyerts and wife Carolyn, Sharon Hartley and husband Tom, David Sligar, and Paul Sligar and wife Laura; step-daughter Joanna Fenton and husband Ronnie; 13 cherished grandchildren; five precious great-grandchildren; and numerous special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Charles Pugh and Exa Mullins Lane; and sisters Mary Jane Walker and Betty Jo Pugh. The family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by VistaCare and requests that memorials be made to St. Paul Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice.
