Marie Clark Henderson passed away April 26, 2013 in Rexburg, Idaho at the age of 92. She was born July 17, 1920 in American Fork, Utah, to Della Pearl Nickell and David Neal Clark.

She married Lyle M. Henderson on December 2, 1938. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on January 31, 1981.

Marie became a hard worker early in her youth. She recalled walking miles to school, living with and helping her Grandma and tending her younger siblings. During her years with Lyle, she assisted him in ranching before obtaining work at American Potato Company where she worked for 10 years before retiring.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marie served on the compassionate service committee and as a Relief Society instructor and Primary teacher. She enjoyed her family, fishing, camping, picking wild huckleberries, hiking and gardening.

Marie was an avid quilter and made several quilts for each of her grandchildren. As her family continued to grow with great-grandchildren, she endeavored to leave her mark in their lives with a quilt as well.

Survivors include her children and their spouses: Jerrold Henderson (Arlene), of Rexburg, Dale Henderson, of Washington, and Judy Widdison (Dan), of St. George, UT; one sister, Carole Erickson, of Rexburg; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; Frank Stewart (stepfather); and siblings: Erma, Rega, Ray, Donald and Grace.

The first viewing will be held Monday, April 29th from 5 - 6:30 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. An additional viewing will held at the Salem LDS Chapel on Tuesday, April 30th at 10 am, with the funeral services at 11. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
