Eunice May Ledbetter
Graveside services for Eunice May Ledbetter, 86, of Mexia, Texas, will be at 3 p.m. today at the Restland Cemetery in Gatesville with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating.
Mrs. Ledbetter died Sunday at a Mexia hospital.
She was born Jan. 12, 1906, in Meridian, Texas, and lived most of her life in Bosque County. She lived in Mexia for the past seven years.
Mrs. Ledbetter was a homemaker.
Survivors include two (3) daughters, Mildred L. Holmes of Harlingen, Texas and Helen Sue Ledbetter Rodgers of Killeen, & W. Dean L. Reagen of Keller, Texas; 2 (1) son, Horace E. Ledbetter of Coolidge, Texas; step-mother, Lillie Bonds of Clifton; three half-sisters; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia is in charge of arrangements.

Eunice and my grandmother Drewy Romine White were 1st cousins.
Per Drewy's family records:
Eunice was the second child born to Walter & Myrtle. Their first child was named Daniel May born Aug. 1904 & he died the same day.
Their was also another child born after the two daughters that died at birth on Oct 1, 1909. No mention of a name or sex of the child was recorded.

no headstone has been found - cemetery has no record of Eunice burial at this cemetery. The funeral home records have her buried here Jan.5th 1993 Thank u Cindy..
