Col. C. Ross Smith Dead.
Philadelphia, November 10,--Col. C. Ross Smith, for many years secretary of the commercial exchange, died last night in the Orthopaedic Hospital, this city, where he had been undergoing treatment for cancer. He was sixty-seven years old, and served with distinction as a cavalry officer in the Union army during the civil war.
