Paul Wesley Allen age 89 of Cartersville Rd passed away at the Hazard VA Medical Center on Wednesday April 24, 2013. he and two of his brothers all served in the Navy in World War II. And had been a Preacher for over 60 years, and had been a founding member of many of the local Churches including West Side Baptist Church of Berea, Kentucky. He was also a carpenter and was in the logging business including running his own saw mill. He was born to the late Charles Wesley Allen II and Edna Violet (Clark) Allen on April 3, 1924 in Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine. He is survived by his Wife of more than 64 years Mary 'Mag' (Combs) Allen his children, grandchildren. besides his parents he was preceded in death by one Son Benjamin Allen and siblings Charles Wesley Allen III, Robert 'Bobby' Allen, Dean Allen and Beverly Casey.
