Emma Lou Shawver Watts, age 85, of Georgetown, passed away October 14, 2009. Emma Lou was born June 13, 1924 in Seymour, TX to Herschel Shawver and Cassie Clark Shawver. She married Lester Lee Watts on April 1, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Anna Lois "Patty" Taylor, and a son, Lester Clark Watts. She is survived by one brother, John and Kathleen Ballard of Keller; four daughters: Dana and Nat Barfield of Burnet, Caral Wilhite of Marble Falls, Joyce and Gary Harvey of Shamrock, Sherri and John Martin of Bartlett, and one daughter-in-law, Vicki Watts of Georgetown, TX. "Murr", as she was called by her grandchildren, leaves behind 13 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, Nathan Barfield, Russell Barfield, Meredith Honea, Jeremy Barfield, Chad Wilhite, Mitch Wilhite, Lee Harvey, Lance Harvey, Bridgette Guy, Grant Watts, Tyler Watts, Logan Watts, Blake Watts, Aaron Martin, Ryan Martin and Lindsay Martin; also 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Lou, as she was most often called by her friends, moved to Georgetown, TX in 1988 and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and the senior adult choir.
