Glenna L Davis (92), of 525 Lake Street, Auburn, Me, passed away April 23, 2013 at the d'Youville
Pavillion in Lewiston.

She was the widow of Lawrence K. Davis, co-owner of the Commerce Die Company of Auburn, who died in 1971.

She was a lifetime resident of Auburn graduating from Edward Little High School in 1938, and the Auburn Maine School of Commerce in 1940. She was a dedicated and enthusiastic organizer of the Reunion for the EL "Class of 38", the last reunion being in 2006.

Glenna served as the Secretary to the Treasurer of the Lewiston Trust Company, where she was employed for fifteen years. She was also secretary at Edward Little High School for eleven years, during a time when two of her children were students there. Glenna was Master of the Lakeview Grange and the Stevens Mills Grange, and was a member of the Danville Grange. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron. And, she was a communicant of the Auburn Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school.

While raising her children, Glenna was a Cub Scout Den Mother of Troup 111 for nine years. She was well known for her love of ballroom dancing, as well as clogging, tap dancing, and square dancing. She also enjoyed participating in plays and "skits". In her own words, "I am a Ham, I love to perform".

Glenna enjoyed many summer days at the family camp on Sebago Lake entertaining friends, and the
whole family.

After her retirement, she wintered in Florida where she was President of the Deland Tourist Club for eleven years, and served as secretary of the New York Club, the New England Club, and the Maine Club for many years as well. She traveled extensively in the winter months, visiting the Caribbean several times. Her travels also included tours of Alaska, Hawaii, South America and many European countries.

Glenna is survived by her daughter, Crystal Davis Card of Billerica, MA, and her sons Byron (Buzz) Davis and his wife Taffy of Farmington, ME, and Charles (Chuck) Davis and his wife Katherine (Kit) of Lewiston, ME. She has four grandchildren; Wesley Andrew Card and his wife, Maggie of Jennings, LA, Glenn Shaw Card and his wife Adrienne of Billerica, MA, Benjamin Charles Davis and Abigail Lauren Davis of Farmington, ME. She also is survived by four great grandchildren; Bristol Marie Card, Braylon Andrew Card, Remington Shaw Card, and Gavin Michael Card.

Glenna is predeceased by her son, L. Kenneth Davis Jr. (Kenny), her second husband, Lawrence K. Davis, her first husband, Wilbur L. Estes, her brother, Byron Urquhart, and her parents Wesley and Melvina Urquhart.
