Mrs. Patsy Ann Johnson Pierce, age 56, of Hays died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her home.
A graveside service will be held Friday 2:00 PM, April 26, 2013 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Marcus Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pierce was born August 23, 1956 in Wilkes County to J. Vestal and Ethel Marie Parker Johnson. Before retiring, she worked for Lowes Companies. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Marie Parker Johnson
She is survived by: her husband, Raymond Rayford Pierce, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Amanda Pierce of the home; one son, James Pierce and wife, Shanon of Moravian Falls; grandchildren, Lauren Pierce, Seth Pierce, Hayden Wilmoth, Hailie Wilmoth; her father, James Vestal Johnson of North Wilkesboro ;two sisters, Betty Jean Haynes and husband, Don of McGrady, Linda Sue Lovette and husband, David of Colorado
