Joe's nickname when you receive this edit request. The story behind it is this: His given name is Joseph Thomas Acker. I'm a great niece and haven't confirmed this with any records. My grandmother was his sister and the closest to him in age. The family called him Joe T. My grandmother always called him Jody (sounded like Joe T) and it stayed with him his entire life. You can change it or not. Doesn't matter to me as I'm assuming no one but me would ever know this story.
