Funeral services for John Porter, 46, Ft. Bridger, were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mountain View LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Lyman Cemetery.

Mr. Porter died Sunday, July 7, of injuries he sustained in a two-car accident two miles west of Ft. Bridger on U.S. Highway 30.

Born March 24, 1928 in Mountain View, Porter was the son of Frank and Myrtle Field Porter. He married Thelma Newsome, June 8, 19?1 in Evanston.

A veteran of World War II, Porter was employed as a carpenter at the Allied Chemical Co.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Porter, Ft. Bridger; one daughter, Deanna Porter, North Ridge, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Porter, Mountain View; three brothers, Grant Porter, Rock Springs, Don Porter, Delta, Utah, and Kilburn Porter, Evanston; and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Graham, Mountain View and Mrs. Charlotte Perkins, Coleman, Wash.
