Roy C. (Buddy) DuBose, age 78 of Devine, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 in San Antonio.



He is preceded in death by his parents, William H.H. and Georgia (Walls) DuBose; sons, Richard Dale and Jerry Dean DuBose; brothers, Grover, Leslie, Clarance, Bryan, Harrison, Preston, Clyde, Marcos, and Arthur DuBose; sisters, Cora Carroll, Lena Carroll, Myrtle Silvey Miller, Winnie Ketchum, Icey Hassell, and Esther Black.



He is survived by his wife, Essie L. DuBose of Devine, sons, Allen DuBose of Devine, Roy L. (Bubba) DuBose of Devine; brother, Darrell W. DuBose of Devine; sisters, Vida B. Kempf of Black Creek, Roberta Brooks of Kyote.



Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine from 2pm to 9pm with the family receiving friends from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11am Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Devine with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
