Cedric Jermaine Moore died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. Born in Sumter on Dec. 7, 1980, he was a son of Bernadine Moore and Robert Gregg Sr.

Cedric was educated at Crestwood High School and later enrolled in the Job Corps. He also attended Willow Grove Military Academy in Columbia. He was previously employed by Hill Plumbing and most recently by Carolina Golden Products.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Frederic Moore; his maternal grandmother, Gardenia Moore; and paternal grandfather, George Gregg Jr.

Surviving are his parents, Bernadine Moore and Robert Gregg Sr. of the home; one brother, Robert Gregg Jr. of the home; three sisters, Pfc. Sara Moore of Fort Jackson, Latochia Moore of the home, and Felicia Williams of Sumter; one special nephew, Devrinne Moore of the home; maternal grandfather, Wardell Moore Sr. of the home; paternal grandmother, Sarah Gregg of Sumter; two aunts; seven uncles; and a very special friend, Latoya Moore of Sumter.

Funeral service: Palmer Memorial Chapel, 304 S. Main St., with Minister Wendell Moore officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Prothos, Minister Roger Prothos and evangelist Emma Moore.

Burial: Bradford Cemetery, U.S. 15 South.
