Timothy "T.J." Barber, 28, of Red Banks, formerly of Nettleton, died April 15, 2013, at Baptist Memphis Hospital. He was a native of Nettleton but had resided in Red Banks for the past four years. He was a former security guard and a member of the Thaxton Pentecostal Church.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on April 17 at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton. A committal service and burial was held at 4 p.m. in the Allen Family Cemetery in Lamar. Rev. Ben Raper, Bro. Mike Barber and Bro. Jackie Pate officiated.

He leaves his wife, Amanda Leeann Feathers; parents, Tim and Penny Pate Barber of Nettleton; a son, Justin Tyler Barber; a sister, Angelica Barnett (John) of Saltillo; paternal grandmother, Jo Ann Barber of Nettleton; and maternal grandmother, Lavern Tomason (Bill) of Nettleton.

He was preceded in death by an infant sibling; his paternal grandfather, James Barber; and maternal grandfather, Jackie Pate.

Pallbearers were Kevin Barber, Corey Barber, Chris Brooks, Robbie Pate, Justin Pate and Michael Wages.

Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Feathers, Tony Pate, Brandon Wages and David Wages
