Funeral for James W. Irons, 72, of 1904 Locust St. SE will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Irons died Tuesday at Decatur General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Irons of Decatur; one son, Frank Irons of Belton, Texas; one daughter, Jean Nichols of Decatur; one sister, Helen Steel of Decatur; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
