Terri is the daughter of Melvin and step-mother, Kathryn Bird, of Council Bluffs and mother, JoAnn Heath, of Corinth, Texas. She is also survived by her daughter, Marisa Brown (Mike) and 3 grandchildren, Zackary, McKayla and Cody, of Arlington, Texas; sister, Connie Kesner (Jim); nephew, Michael, of Adams, Neb.; 2 nieces, Alycia and Amanda Howard, of Lincoln, Neb.; also many aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Terri was born in England at a military hospital. Her father was stationed at RAF Brice Norton AFB. Her grandfather, Fred W. Bird was born in England. He did not live long enough to see his granddaughter but was very proud that she was born in his homeland.
Terri worked for Kroger Food Stores for over 30 years. She was a Deli Manager the past 20 years. She worked upgrading Delis in many stores in the Dallas area. She has many friends who love and praise her. She was a beautiful person, will be dearly missed by her family here in Council Bluffs and friends in Texas. She was home for our family reunion in 2012 and we also enjoyed her at Christmas.
Terri's funeral service was at the First Baptist Church in Holton City, Texas and her burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche, Texas.
There will be a memorial service officiated by the Rev. Dr. Judy Wozniak of Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2444 North Broadway, Council Bluffs, on Saturday, May 11th at 11 a.m., a luncheon will be served after the memorial service.
