Buck was born January 3, 1920 to Walter and Alta Kincaid in Coos Bay, Oregon, and spent his early life on the Oregon Coast in Coos Bay, North Bend and Coquille areas. Although he spent some time operating tugboats and working in the woods, Buck was a truck driver most of his working life.
After living in Medford, Oregon, and Ashland, Oregon, he and his family moved to Glendale, Oregon, in 1952 where he was the manager and driver for Oregon Egg Producers. In 1961 the family moved to Roseburg, Oregon, where he remained until his death. Buck enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping, backpacking and gardening. He loved his family and was always available for family moves, engine repair and fix-it projects of all sorts.
Survivors include his wife Pat Kincaid; daughters Sandra Hart and her husband Bob of Eugene, Oregon, and Colleen Kincaid of Roseburg, Oregon, granddaughter Erin Olson and her husband Chad of Eugene, Oregon. No services are planned.
