Mrs. Margaret E. Benner
Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock, Mrs. Mary Ellen [sic] Benner, widow of John G. Benner died at the home of Elias Glass of cancer.She was born at Millerstown, Blair county, August 15, 1842. She was the oldest daughter of John and Mary Treesh. She united with the Reformed church at 15 years of age, and had been a consistent member of that church until death. She leaves surviving her two brothers, William H. Treesh of Henrietta and John Treesh of Geneva, Nebraska. The funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Pleasant Reformed church by her pastor, Rev. E. S. Noll, on Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m. Interment was made in the Treesh cemetery. She was aged 72 years, 7 months and 25 days.
