Betti/Bethy (Baum) Frank was the daughter of Isaac Baum and Emma Kohn/Cohn. She was the mother of Maud (Monica), Ingeborg and Hans. She was the wife of Paul Frank, a successful lawyer in Dortmund, Hessen, Germany. Paul and Betti/Bethy moved to Cologne, Germany around December 22, 1938, a little more than a month after Kristallnacht. Cologne was where Paul's brother, Ernst Bernhard Frank, lived.
