Aunt Recha was born in Newedell, Western Pomerania, (now Drawno, Poland) in 1876. By 1886, she had moved, with her parents and brothers and sisters, to Berlin.
In March 1918, she married an engineer, Alfred Richter, who died in the late 1920s.
In October 1932 she remarried, a stomach specialist, Dr Franz-Louis Richter & moved to Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland).
On the 12th February 1942, being Jews, she and her husband were deported to the Lublin area and dumped on the local Jewish community, in the village of Głusk. Both Aunt Recha & Franz-Louis died of the consequences of the treatment that they recieved by the Nazis
