Ellenore
She was a great home-maker
And many talents had she,
She loved to embroider and crochet
And cook big meals for her family,
She liked to be of help to others
And was there when she needed to be.
She loved to work with her hands
Her Afghans were a joy to behold,
And in the nursery she did toil
Her many plants were a glory to behold.
She was also an avid collector
And had many sorts of dolls,
And mugs from all their travels
Adorned the dining walls.
Tend to all these joys
She more than passed the test,
God took note of all her special work
And knew she was one of the best,
And when she became very ill
He took her in his arms, Home to rest.
