Accidental Shooting
Tuesday Thomas Burnett, who lives near Myrick, was married to Miss Myrtle Miller. At the festivities Tuesday a shot gun was accidentally discharged badly injuring the left foot of Dave Burnett, a brother of the group. Two bones in his foot were fractured and it will be come time before he can walk naturally. Only about two months ago Mr. Burnett had the misfortune of accidentally shooting himself through the right foot with a pistol.

Accidental Shooting of March 30 Results Fatally
Dave Burnett, aged 23, died at his home three miles east of Lexington yesterday at two a.m. Death came from lockjaw caused by a wound in the left foot received Tuesday night, March 30. At the celebration of his brother's wedding a shot gun was discharged into his foot. It was that the wound was not very serious; but complications set in and death resulted.
Mr. Burnett was a member of a large family and worked in the mines. He was an industrious young man and popular with his associates. He held membership in the local union and in the Improved Order of Redmen.
The funeral will be held from the house this morning at 10 o'clock. The Redmen will have charge of the burial.
