Sodus: Passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday, April 20th, 2013, at the age of 79. Dick was predeceased by his wife Odilia "Dee". He is survived by his children, David (Diane) Burlee, Robert Burlee (Patricia Madison), Ann (Chris) Ramsdell, and Paul Burlee; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; his sister, Barbara Datthyn; nephew, Daniel (Sue) Datthyn.

Dick was an Army veteran, retiree from New York Telephone where he was a lineman, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, life member of the Williamson Rod & Gun Club, an honorary member of the Sodus Fire Department, and a member of the N.R.A.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus, where his funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Donations in Dick's memory may be sent to the Sodus Town Ambulance Corps, P.O Box 344, Sodus, NY 14551.
