Fayetteville Daily: George Lollar, son of the late James Lollar of this city, committed suicide about 11 o'clock Sunday morning by hanging at his home near Summers. His family discovered that his mind was not right Thursday and a pistol and razor were taken from him. He was afterwards closely watched and on Saturday carbolic acid was found in his possession and was taken from him. At 11 o'clock Sunday morning, he slipped out of the house and in a few minutes his absence was noticed and a search instituted. He was soon found hanging by a rope from the loft of the barn and was dead. He was buried at Summers to-day (Cincinnati). We was about 45 years of age and leaves a wife and four children. Deceased had lived in Fayetteville for many years and many friends will mourn his death.
From researching George, I found that he was married to Rosa Armstrong. At the time of his death, Rosa was caring child number 9 which was born July 12 and she named him George. Such a sad story for all.
