Thomas Craig Cooper was married to Dorothy Stark. I was told by his granddaughter that the family had moved from Pittsburgh to New York and were back in Pittsburgh in the summer of 1926 visiting family. On a separate trip they drove to Chicago, and on the return trip back to Pittsburgh, Tom died from tuberculosis.

He is buried in the Cooper family plot at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
