REBECCA JANE COCHRAN, 48, of Corsica, died at 11:40 p.m. Friday January 16, 1987, in Franklin Regional Medical Center. Her cause of death was due to cancer. Born January 21, 1938, she was a daughter of Raymond Theodore and Dorothy Jenny Boyer Bell. Mrs. Cochran was an inventory control manager for 13 years at the Jamesway store of Clarion. She was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Tom (Julie) Simpson, Mrs. Robert (Marcie) Lyle, Melanie Cochran and Terri Cochran, all of Corsica; a son, Scott Cochran of Corsica; her mother, Dorothy J. Bell of Corsica; and her former husband, Richard L. Cochran of Stanford, CT. Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Russell (Ruth G.) Hetrick of Clearwater, FL; Mrs. Nelson (Lois Marie) Exley of Lockport, NY; Mrs. John (Phyllis Ann) Fiamella of North East; Mrs. Donald (Dorothy Lucille) Malmgren of Erie; Alice Pauline Bell of Brookville and Bonnie Jean Bell of Clarion. Seven brothers also survive: Edgar Leroy Bell of Strattanville; Fredrick Neil Bell of Garrettsville, OH; William Theodore Bell of Clarion; Arnold Lee Bell of Wilkes-Barre; Raymond Winfield Bell of Knox; James Robert Bell of Clarion and Merle Rolland "Bus" Bell of Palatka, FL. Six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her father preceded her in death. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home of Clarion. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Whitcomb of Strattanville United Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. Fred Bell, brother of Mrs. Cochran, officiating. Interment will be in Cedarview Memorial Park.
