Blanton, Willard Franklin (Bob) of Whitesville WV died Saturday May 12, 1979 at his home after an apparent heart attack. He was born April 17, 1929 at Whitesville, a son of Mrs. Virtie Brown Blanton of Sylvester and the late Litchfield Blanton. He was an employee of the C&O Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of United Transportation Union. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Drema French Blanton, three daughter, Mrs. Sherry Gwinn of Summersville WV and the Misses Tina and Gina Blanton both at home; seven sisters, Mrs Syrdah Meadows of Selma Calif, Mrs Frances McGhee of Whitesville, Mrs Carrie Morrision of Comfort WV, Mrs Maggie Taylor of Keith, WV. Mrs Norma Mancari of Sylvester, Mrs Mazella Stover and Mrs Linda Lotterman both of Middletown Del, a half-brother Ted Blanton of CoeBurn, Va, and one grandchild.
