Patrick was the son of Cornelius and Margaret (O'Connell) Creedon. His parents were born in Ireland. Patrick was a blacksmith at a paper mill. Patrick was survived by his wife Catherine (Hall) Creedon. Patrick served in World War I. He enlisted June 27, 1917 and was discharged as a PFC on July 8, 1919. He served with Company L of the 59th Pioneer Infantry Regiment.
