David Wayne Winn age 50, died early Friday morning, April 19, 2013, in Houston. A private viewing was held Saturday, April 20, in Texas City for the family. A memorial service will be at 2:00 on Sunday, April 28, at the Rhome United Methodist Church at 1st and Dogwood in Rhome, TX. David was born May 15, 1962, in Tucson, AZ, to Wayne and Pat (Walters) Winn. He attended school in Arlington, Quinlan, and Dallas. He spent some time in the Navy, and he was proficient in all phases of carpentry, electronics, and vacuum heat-treat furnace technology. He travelled extensively, but had made his home on the TX gulf coast. Survivors include his father and mother; sisters Rebecca Shaw (his twin) and husband Brad of Allen, Tracy Goforth of Savannah, TX, and Elizabeth Winn of Dallas; daughter Brittany Winn of Houston; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; and many extended family members and friends. His body was donated to BioEthical Anatomics in Houston, phone 713-525-2000.
