Emma Frances Clark Gunn, long time Collierville resident passed away Saturday April 20, 2013. She was born to James Lester Clark and Bessie Leola Ray Clark July 13, 1923 in Chalybeate Mississippi. She was a sweet and gentle lady, who loved and was loved by her family and friends. She was gifted with a positive outlook and delighted in the beautiful flowers she grew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel S. Gunn, a daughter Jerrye Gunn Lewis, two granddaughters, Barbee Clark Gunn, Kelli Pate Curbo, and a great-grandson, Liam Lennon Lancaster. She is survived by her daughters Karen G. Shea (Neil) and Bebe G. Lemmons (Don) of Collierville and her son Sam S. Gunn (Mary) of Waco Texas, and a granddaughter she raised Lori Lewis Lancaster (Wayne) of Germantown, in addition to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27 from 1-2 p.m. with Service at 2 p.m. all at Collierville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
