LAURELVILLE: Dale A. Kempton, 56, of Laurelville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his residence.

Dale was born March 14, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio and was the son of Paul Ellsworth and Esther Marie (Barclay) Kempton. He was a 1975 graduate of Amanda-Clearcreek High School and retired after 12 years of service as a material handler for RCA.

He is survived by a son, Casey James Kempton of Stoutsville, Ohio; mother, Esther Marie Kempton of Stoutsville; brothers and sisters, Connie (Dick) Capuano of Hillard, Ohio, David Kempton of Massachusetts, Steve (Penny) Kempton of Columbus, Ohio, Kevin (Angela) Kempton of Stoutsville and Mark Kempton of Orlando, Florida; aunt, Muriel Wright of Circleville, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and long time friend, Rebecca Sue Graham.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda, Ohio with Rev. Ted Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Monday.
