Funeral services for Mrs. Guri Egertson, widow of Eric Egertson of the Wallingford community were held Friday afternoon, July 26, from the East Riverside church. Rev. Gaard of Cylinder was in charge. Burial was made in the Bruegeld cemetery.
Mrs. Egertson who had been a resident of the Wallingford community for the past forty years died Wednesday July 24, at the age of 75 years. She was born July 7, 1854, at Hallingdahl, Norway, and came to America 45 years ago.
She is survived by three sons, Henry of Wallingford, Sever of Estherville and Ed of Jackson, Minn. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, August 7, 1929)

Interment was made in Riverside cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss three sons: Henry of Wallingford, Sever of Estherville, and Ed. of Jackson, Minn., besides a host of friends.
