Son of the late Thomas and Rosie (Skaggs) Shelley.

He was 93 years, 5 months and 13 days of age at the time of his death. He and Audra were married 71 years.

Abraham enjoyed farming throughout his life. He loved to ride his horses and he enjoyed going on trail rides with his friends and family.

He was a caring and kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandson and great-grandsons. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Abe was involved in an tractor accident some years back that hendered his mobility. He was very emotional the day he had to say goodbye to his beloved horses. But he was lucky to be alive.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife: Audra Shelley, of their home in Texas County; one son: E. Jay Shelley of Cabool, Missouri; one daughter: Donna Kullmar of O'Fallon, Missouri; and one sister: Eva Ford of Pendleton, Oregon.
