HANNIBAL - Dennis C. Epperson, 57, of Center, died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Salt River Christian Church in New London. The Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate. Burial will be at Center Cemetery in Center.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, April 30, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Mr. Epperson was born Nov. 24, 1946, in Hannibal to Harold C. and Anna Lea Tapley Epperson.
He was married to Janet K. Billings on Aug. 8, 1964, in Hannibal. She survives.
Other survivors include his father, Harold C. Epperson (Edith) of Center; two daughters, Karla Clark (Matt) of New London and Kelly Morris (Donnie Jr.) of Center; one son, J.R. Epperson (Jacinda) of Center; three brothers, Harold Lee Epperson of Center, Gary Epperson of New London and Roy Epperson of Brookfield; two sisters, Donna Coons of Hannibal and Ede Henderson of Monroe City; nine grandchildren, Kayla Clark, Hanna Clark, Jacob Morris, Joshue Morris, Jamie Morris, Zachary Epperson, Josie Morris, Zoeie Epperson, Zane Epperson; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Epperson was a farmer and a truck driver. He was a Christian by faith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Epperson, Matt Clark, Donnie Morris, Jacob Morris, Maltie Hawkinson, Delbert Griffin, Pete Epperson and Melvin Coons.
