Mrs. A.J. Anderson
Mrs. Julia Anderson, 81, mother of Mrs. John Oudes and Miss Odella Anderson, died suddenly of a heart attack, Friday [September 1, 1944] morning, at her home in High Lake township. Mrs. Anderson had had a similar attack three years ago but had recovered and her death was unexpected.

They homesteaded a place in High Lake township and Julia resided there after her marriage to Albert J. Anderson on June 12, 1888, and until her death. Mr. Anderson passed away Nov. 4, 1933, and two daughters preceded their mother in death. Mrs. Anderson is the last member of her immediate family.

Funeral services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran church of which the deceased was a member on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. L.G. Hinderaker officiated and interment was made in the Wallingford cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 7, 1944)
