Miss VanCloostere was born July 24, 1909, in Murphysboro to Emile and Minnie Young VanCloostere.
She was a member of St. Andrew Church.
Survivors include one brother, Emile "Buck" VanCloostere of Murphysboro; six nieces, Loretta Schneider of Vergennes, Mary Endres of St. Louis, Geraldine Eisenhauer of DuQuoin, Janet Wilkerson of Shorewood, Pat Krawczyk of Murphysboro and Marceil Steele of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Three brothers, Tony A., Clarence J. and Edward E. VanCloostere, and her parents preceded her in death.
