Ruth Pauline Brubaker, 83, died November 10 following a short illness at her home in Lakewood, Colorado. Mrs. Brubaker was the daughter of James Clement Henderson and Ozeta Van Sickle Henderson. She was educated in Charleston, and Pasadena and Hollywood, California, where she met her future husband, Thomas Jay Brubaker. Mrs. Brubaker later came to Wyoming and on October 10, 1916, was married in Casper. The family ranched south of Glenrock until 1921, when they moved to Los Angeles and then Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1927 they returned to their ranch and in 1936 moved into Glenrock where Mr. Brubaker engaged in the contracting and plumbing business until his death in 1946.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas in 1926; and twin brothers, Daniel an Donald. Survivors include two daughters and two sons, Betty Salzman of Glenrock, Barbara Jubrias of Wheatridge, Colorado, Donald E. "Buzz" of Fayetteville, Arkansas and John "Bun" of Fort Collins, Colorado; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
