CHICO (Butte Co.), Nov. 2, 1946. – Funeral services were held in the Brusie Funeral Home today for Monte Leslie Harris, 53, who died in Oroville, Butte County, Wednesday after a brief illness.

Harris who was employed by the United States Government as a station fireman, was a native of Red Bluff, Tehama County.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Daisy Bernice Harris of Oroville; a son, Leslie R. Harris of Feather Falls, Butte County; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stevens of San Francisco, and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Josephine Schubert of Chico, Mrs. Claude Jewett of Marysville, Mrs. Byrd Baker of Sacramento and L.D.
