COLUMBUS GROVE
Joseph Bushong, an aged resident of this vicinity, passed out of life Saturday morning. For many years he had not been in the best of health and last week a turn for the worst became apparent. For some months he has been making a home with Wilbur Weeks and wife, Mrs. Weeks being a granddaughter. The death of his wife last winter had much to do with his early demise. Since then he has gradually declined in health. The deceased had reached the ripe old age of 82 years. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from the Christian church, conducted by the I. O. O. F. lodge, with Rev. Klink as officiating minister. The remains were interred in the Campbell cemetery in Allen county.
