INFORMATION on PARENT'S BURIAL:
I do not believe that either Thomas Norris or Mary Elizabeth Dager Norris are buried in the West Bedford Cemetery. It is my understanding that they were buried in a family cemetery on their farm, which would be "up the road" from the West Bedford Cemetery. Unfortunately this burial ground has since been obliterated by stip mining operations on the old farm property. This information comes from "The Norris Family History" by Barbara Norris Smith (1980). I have been to the West Bedford Cemetery and could not find either Thomas or Mary, altho son Elias and many other family members are buried there. Daniel R. Mumford, 4th great-grandson of Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Dager Norris.
