She was born in Perry County, IN, on October 25, 1962 to Wilma Brown Buchanan and the late John Peter. She was united in marriage on June 24, 1989 to Jamie Stafford. She was a stay at home mamaw and enjoyed being with her family, watching her grandchildren and niece, butterflies, gardening and fishing. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Stafford of Tell City, IN; daughter Angel Beertzer and husband, David Jr, of Leopold, IN; grandchildren, Aleah and Dymetry Greene; parents, Herb and Wilma Buchanan, of Tell City, IN; brother, David Peter and wife Kelly, of tell City, IN; sisters, Connie Blair and friend, Donnie Graham, of Tell City, Tammy Devillez and husband, Warren, of Leopold, Charlotte Taylor and friend, Jeff Roark, of Tell City.
Funeral services will be at 10 am CST on Tuesday, November 25, at St. Marks Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 pm at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home.
