Jack was born on January 6, 1929 in Detroit the son of John and Sophia (Reverski) Adamkowski. He married Barbara J. Adams who preceded him in death on December 19, 2011.
Jack first started out working at Chrysler as a pattern maker.
Later he worked for Ferguson Machine Co. as a salesman and Jo-Ad Industry until he retired.
Jack loved to sail and play golf.
He sang in the East Jordan Choir, played in the East Jordan Band and sang with a Barber Shop Quartet.
Jack loved his garden and he will be missed by the many people that he touched and loved.
Jack is survived by his children Jeff Adams, Bruce (Linda) Adams; grandchildren Kellie Adams, Lucas Acha, Ben Acha, Matt Adams and Chris Adams; great-grandchildren Destiny and Allisa.
Jack will be remembered as a loving father by his two sons.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, April 26, 2013 at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City
