Madison--Carl Tilley, 64, died Tuesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was a former employee of Jefferson Proving Ground and Butler's Dairy. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Madison Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post 9 and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors: three daughters, Carol Walker of Covington, Ky., Elaine Miller of Warren, Mich., and Virginia Davis; two sons, John and Mark Tilley; four sisters, Lilly Garrett of Louisville, Ella May, Madeline Evans and Sophia Lee, all of West Virginia; a brother, Julius tilley of Dover, Del.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, Christ Temple Apostolic Church, with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation at Vail-Holt Funeral Home.
