Retired Major Rex "Buzzie" Nelson, USAF, was born to the late Jospeh M. and Maude Buckner Nelson. Buzzie served his country in the United States Air Force where he retired with the rank of Major, and he was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: sisters, Bertie Mae Duran, Myrtis Nelson, and Deana Stroud; and brothers, Joe Nelson and Paul Nelson.
