Mary Jane Hall Chilton times August 29, 1874

Died – At Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wis., on Friday, August 21, 1874, Mary Jane Hall, wife of Chas. A Hall, aged 33 years and 29 days. The deceased was a daughter of ex-Sheriff John Dean, and was the first white child born within the limits of Calumet County having been born on the Stockbridge Reservation in 1841. Mr. Hall, her third husband, is a native of South Levant, Pe??scot Co., Me. She leaves no children. The husband, father and friends feel deeply affected by the loss. The following couplet is furnished by Mr. Hall as expressive of his feelings;
"Sleep on darling wife, and take thy rest,
For God called thee when he thought best."
